How to Solder! Soldering is a critical skill: it ain't rocket science but it's got to be right. There are lots of good tutorials on the Internet, this reprinted one hosted by Electronix Express covers it quickly.
A file explaining the protocol for communication with a PC mouse
A .ZIPped file containing a huge number of IC pinouts drawn in IBM ASCII characters. A great resource, with a pretty juvenile name given by it's author.
Recent projects have involved putting raw data such as audio samples into EPROMs. To do this, you probably need this Binary-to-IntelHex Conversion utility. (Set browser to download to disk.)
